Addressing early adolescent issues – by Dr. Sonali Naik MD( Gynaec)
Adolescence -the period between childhood & adulthood is a transitional period. To educate girl students of Std VI,VII & VIII on the basics of early adolescence, a lecture session was organized on 23/9/11.
Dr Sonali Naik MD (Gynecologist),briefed the girls in detail on health & hygiene, changes & how to cope up with the physical, biological changes that girls undergo during early adolescence.
This was followed by question answer session – wherein the girls’ queries were addressed by Dr Sonali.
Principal Mrs Geetha Neelakantan welcomed Dr Sonali Naik with flowers & expressed gratitude for consenting to the request.
