Children are educated about festivals that are related to the changing of seasons, birth of prophets, commemorating an event or invoking the blessings of Gods & Goddesses. Rituals that are passed down through generations help create a sense of culture, heritage & tradition.
Students of Junior Group – Primary Section, celebrated Ganesha Chaturthi, the great Ganesha festival, also known as ‘Vinayak Chaturthi’. Lorna madam briefed the students the significance of the festival & how it is celebrated all over the country. This was followed by Arthi , bhajans & distribution of Prasad to students.
The spirit of enthusiasm & excitement exhibited by the teachers & students was worth watching. May Lord Ganesha bless our little ones with all goodies.
