Shiv Ashish students were a part of ‘ Make your Mother Smile’ ,contest organized by Yuva Unstoppable an NGO.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam graced the occasion on 12/11/11,,where in the school managements, principals, teachers & students of Ahmedabad city gathered to appreciate students for sharing their first experience of making their mother smile.
The best 10 entries from Shiv Ashish School, were invited to take part in the event . The principal & a few staff members accompanied the students.
The best 16 entries out of 2200 entries in all from city schools , were called on stage for a group photograph with Dr. Kalam. Divya Nair Std IX –Shiv Ashish student figured amongst those best 16 entries.Divya had the privilege to go on stage for a group photograph with Dr.Kalam.
