We could really feel the presence of Lord Krishna when little kids were enthusiastically coming in the school dressed as little krishna or radha. The day started with heavy rains so after a little disappointment we started the function with full energy level. There were students from classes V- XII from english as well as gujarati medium who performed various dances like garba, raas, group dances reflecting the innocent, naughty, lovable, and adorable Krishna. Then after the Dahi Handi function caught each and every one’s attention when the boys formed the pyramid, had a fall from top twice and the third time broke the handi full of dahi makhan and threw on the audience as little krishna used to do it. It was really breath taking scene. Real enjoyment….
SHIVASHISH PRE-PRIMARY celebrated ‘janmashtami’ in a new way….Teachers played a skit based on Lord Krishna’s birth .Students enjoyed a lot when they saw there teachers playing the role of ‘Krishna’,’Kansh’,’Yasodha’ etc.
We didn’t miss out on the traditional ‘jhula’ and had the ‘aarti’ and the ‘panjari’ as prasad.
