Every child is gifted with some or other talent and every child loves to play in sand and with clay… when it rains, when the rain drops bring sweet smell of mother earth what else is required to get motivated for making clay models.
Shiv Ashish high and higher secondary school (GM) organized clay modeling competition to make the students understand the ancient culture of India where clay utensils etc were used and what was the purpose of using these utensils. All the students utilized their imagination to mould the clay into either cake, car, Jyotirling, earthworm, clown, kitchen equipments, cave man, flower vase, school going girl, village scenery, rabbit, tortoise, snake, or butterfly and what not.
The teachers recalled their student life where the students from all the houses participated with full zest and tried to reach the sky of imagination.
The winners were selected on the basis of neatness, beauty and perfectness of a model.
Karan Nathkar from class 10 A (Subhash House) got first position, Payal K. Patel, Nidhi P. Chauhan, Yesha h. Pandya of class 9 B (Subhash House) got the second position and Rushi A. Mehta, Jay K. Patel of class 9 C (Tagore house) got third position
